My search for “24″ tv episode reminded me of this lesson

by Wes Thorp on December 6, 2008

I’ve learned this and then I’ve relearned it over and over again about how the web is changing our daily lives.

Let me share my most recent lesson:  While visiting our son, Justin, in Washington, D.C., we watched most of year #4 of the television series “24″ and found it totally addicting.  He bought it at a Best Buy for twenty bucks.  We found it totally amazing how the show keeps your interest and makes you want to watch the next one.

Well, I borrowed season 4 when we got back home from a friend and we watched the rest.  What do we do next to satisfy this addiction?  Do we buy the next season?

I found the answer on the web with a site called Hulu where you can find popular television shows and a long list of movies.  Sure enough “24″ is there, along with an impressive list of other television shows.

This is just one example of web innovation and how it’s changing our lives.   Has anybody out there tried Qik?
